The Success Amma Gave Me

I got seventy percent marks in the 10th standard. I came to Amma to have darshan and submit my mark sheet. I was sitting with my mother. Thirumathi Bharatidevi, a Sakthi from our Mandram, told me, “We are going to perform Paada Pooja. You come with us!” Hence, I joined them. Then, I prayed to Amma to bless me in getting a seat, in the Polytechnic. To my surprise, Amma told me to join the Polytechnic and study there.

Before joining the college, we came to Amma and did Paada Pooja. Amma said, “You would have failed in the 10th grade exams. Amma only helped you pass the exam! You join Polytechnic, study well, get good marks, and join Engineering. Do you understand?” As per Amma’s directions, I am staying in the hostel and studying well. In the Polytechnic, during the first year exams, the questions were very difficult. I became nervous and couldn’t write anything! While sitting in the exam hall, I literally cried! I said to myself, “Amma! I don’t think that I shall be able to get good marks in this exam! I am going to fail! Please help me get at least forty marks, Amma. That is enough for me.” I began to write the exam, saying, “Guruvadi Sharanam! Thiruvadi Sharanam!” I answered all the questions as well as I could.

I thought that it was enough if I passed the exams. I was waiting for the results, promising myself that, if I succeed, I shall write to Sakthi Olhi.

The results were announced. What a wonder! I had obtained 84% marks!

Since I forgot to write to Sakthi Olhi, I had to face certain problems. I asked Amma to forgive me and I am writing this, now. I am convinced once again that, “Whoever has full faith in Amma and surrenders at Amma’s Divine Feet, he will succeed in all his attempts!”

In Developing A Spiritual Toolset

By practising the teachings of the Avatars, we are able to preserve and promote a spiritual toolset, which we know to be vital in life in any world.

For The Soul

The vedic prayers of the Avatars, written by Their divine guidance and blessings, are wonderful catalysts to connect with our true selves. They are essential steps and guides on our journey backwards.

Practise To Win

Chant, do, detach. The 'DO' is to be found in sadhana, also glibly called spiritual practice. The toughest step in the beginning, because rarely does one fancy doing, here are some nice ways to DO.

Look Into 'I'

And see the real 'I'. Question, evaluate, and transform. Be good, do good, see good, and all that wonderful, fluffy goodness. The final step in being divine, or as close as you can make it.
