Sakthi Olhi, 2005 devotees' experiences translated from Tamil into English.

The 'Weekly Experience' features a devotees' experience chosen from our repository of translated experiences. This experience will feature across all the categories on Angel Grove Studio and 'My Mother' digital magazine. In 1984, my marriage took place. Although I gave birth to two children, both of them died. After that, I had miscarriages. The doctors said that, I wouldn't become a mother. Hearing this, I was very sad. When I was in the hospital, a Sakthi from the Adi Parasakthi Mandram at Ooti came to see me. I told him about my condition. This Sakthi, later on, took me to…

Nobody can forget 26th December, 2004. It was a day of sorrow for millions of people, who had been affected by the tsunami. As soon as the news of the tsunami spread, our Amma told the devotees to help the victims, immediately. At once, we started cooking in the Temple kitchen. We cooked food, filled them in plastic containers, and immediately took them to the people, in vans and lorries. Among them, there was the van that belonged to Adi Parasakthi Trust. It was filled with three thousand pots of food! It started from Mel Maruvathur exactly at 12 noon.…
I would like to tell you my experience about how our Amma blessed me, with a daughter. My husband is working in America. On 8th November, 2002, my marriage took place in the presence of our Divine Mother Amma. I left for America last year and have been living with my husband happily. On the left side of my uterus, there was a small tumour. I went for check-ups regularly. My blood group is A1-. That of my husband is O+. As these two groups of blood do not agree with each other, our parents were worried. Meanwhile, my mother-in-law,…
Doctor Thyagarajan has been working as Assistant Director in a Pharmaceutical Laboratory, in America. Every day, his children would keep a glass of milk in their pooja room and worship the Divine Mother. They would drink the milk after their prayer. One day, as the children were in a hurry to reach school, they forgot to drink the milk. They went to school. Dr. Thyagarajan went to his lab. The doctor’s wife was not at home. She had gone to Mel Maruvathur. It was 11:00 a.m. A relative of the doctor, a young girl, was alone in the house. She…
From 1983, I have been going to Mel Maruvathur, whenever I get a chance. I am living a good life with the blessings of Adigalaar Amma. I had been working with the government for twenty five years. I had retired, but following Amma’s advice, I re-joined the education department. In 2002, I became ill. The doctors said that, I had to undergo surgery at once. I went to Amma to get Her blessings. Amma said to me, “You may undergo the operation. It will be done in a grand manner.” I felt glad, but I couldn’t understand why Amma said…
We are staunch devotees of Amma. One day, a cow attacked my father. As a result, there was a deep wound on his nose. The doctors had sutured it, but in a few days, my father found it difficult to breathe! The doctors said that, he had to undergo a surgery. We came to Amma and asked Amma what we might do. Amma told us that Amma would take care of my father. Yes! Amma did! My father is doing well. Four years ago, we bought a new tractor. One day, when my father was driving the tractor, he happened…

In Developing A Spiritual Toolset

By practising the teachings of the Avatars, we are able to preserve and promote a spiritual toolset, which we know to be vital in life in any world.

For The Soul

The vedic prayers of the Avatars, written by Their divine guidance and blessings, are wonderful catalysts to connect with our true selves. They are essential steps and guides on our journey backwards.

Practise To Win

Chant, do, detach. The 'DO' is to be found in sadhana, also glibly called spiritual practice. The toughest step in the beginning, because rarely does one fancy doing, here are some nice ways to DO.

Look Into 'I'

And see the real 'I'. Question, evaluate, and transform. Be good, do good, see good, and all that wonderful, fluffy goodness. The final step in being divine, or as close as you can make it.
