It was my daughter’s first wedding anniversary on 24th January, 2000. I went to see her in Tanjavur and started back by bus the same night. While I was sitting on my seat, I began to say Adigalaar Amma’s Potri. Soon, I fell asleep. I had a wonderful dream.
The Earth was shaking, because of an earthquake. It seemed that, If we walked, we would fall down. Somehow, I was walking. Soon, I saw a small hut, thatched with coconut palm leaves. I went there. In that hut, there was a small platform made of mud. On that platform, the photo of our Amma was kept. In front of the photo, I saw a trident. I looked all around. There was none other than me present there. I was looking at Amma’s photo. I was seeing only Adigalaar Amma. Amma was looking at me with Eyes fully open. Amma asked me what I wanted. I didn’t know what to say. I said to Amma, “Amma, I want You to be with me always.” Amma said, “I am always with you. What else do you want? Ask me.” I said, “Amma, You are Adi Parasakthi. I would like to see Your Full Figure, (Viswaroopam).” At once, Adigalaar Amma lay on the floor. Amma said to me, “Say ‘Om Sakthi! Parasakthi!’ repeatedly.” Sound did not come out of my throat. I was mentally saying, “Om Sakthi! Parasakthi! Om Sakthi! Parasakthi!” Amma called me and said that, my voice did not reach Amma’s ears. I told Amma that I was finding it difficult to speak. Amma said, “All right. Now, you say, ‘Om Sakthi! Parasakthi!’” I began to say ‘Om Sakthi! Parasakthi!’ loudly.
What a wonder! The figure of Amma, Who had been lying on the floor, transformed into an Idol! Gradually, it began to grow vertically, reaching the height of an Arecanut Palm. Amma had innumerable Hands. That was all. I opened my eyes. I wondered what I had been dreaming. I am sure Amma was giving me Her Viswaroopa darshan! Whenever I remember that dream, my heart fills with happiness. I felt that Amma gave me such a vision, because I have the habit of saying Amma’s Potri always. From that dream, I realised a truth. This is what it is – ‘Now and always, Amma is with us.’
