I live in Bhavani, in Eerod district. I attend the weekly pooja at our Vazhipaatu Mandram, on every Tuesday, and do service there. Four months ago, I had gone to attend a wedding. After coming back, I had kept my gold chain somewhere, but couldn’t find it. Again, after two months, I wanted to attend another wedding. I wanted to wear the chain, but I couldn’t tell anyone that it was missing for fear that they would scold me.
On the Tamil New Year day, I saw our Amma’s programme on Vijay TV. While watching the programme, looking at Amma on the television, I prayed to Her, “Dear Mother, it is the New Year today. Kindly find the chain for me. I shall write to Sakthi Olhi and let everyone know about Your power and the wonder You have shown.”
At about 10 a.m., I told my son and daughter-in-law that I had lost that chain four months ago. I told them that I couldn’t remember where I had kept it. Very faithfully and feeling sure, I told them that Amma would find the chain for me that day! My son searched everywhere once again, for me.
What a wonder! Within a few minutes, my son found the chain in a cupboard! When he showed it to me, I couldn’t say anything, but I shed tears of joy. Dear Sakthis, we need to remember that our Amma is a God; He is Omnipresent. We can find Him in a pillar as well as in a piece of rust! With great faith, I prayed to Amma. I got the chain back. I am totally surrendering at the Divine Feet of our Amma, with full faith that She will help us in our lives.
